In Indore, the employees took out a rally in support of the restoration of old pension and also submitted a memorandum to the district officer in the name of the Chief Minister.
According to a news portal, while addressing the protest in Khargone, a staff leader said, “Whenever the workers have come on the road, the governments have changed. Shivraj Singh ji should not remain in the illusion that he will win again. AAP is in power because of Congress vote and employee can influence 30 to 40 thousand votes in each assembly. I request all of you employees to put up a poster in your house and write on it that till our old pension is not implemented, we will vote for the same party which talks about implementing our pension. will do.”
Earlier, the governments of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh have announced the restoration of old pension. The Chief Ministers of both the states had announced the restoration of the old pension scheme during the budget presentation. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while presenting the budget, had said that the old pension scheme is implemented for all employees appointed after January 1, 2004.
