Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singhdeo is in headlines due to his recent statements. After his statements regarding the post of Chief Minister, politics has been heated from Chhattisgarh to Delhi. Meanwhile, amid rumors of him being in touch with the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP, TS Singhdev said that he is not leaving the Congress. He, however, admitted that the Aam Aadmi Party had approached him.
Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singhdeo said generations of his family have been in the Congress and he will continue to be in the party. TS Singhdeo while talking to media persons on Saturday said, “I will not go to BJP as our ideology is different. Five generations of my family have been in Congress. I am not leaving the party. It is difficult for me to even think of anything different from the Congress.
The Health Minister of Chhattisgarh pointed out that Aam Aadmi Party leaders had contacted him. However, he rubbished the rumors of leaving the Congress. He said, “I have not met Arvind Kejriwal but in politics there are some people who contact each other. So, it’s not like no one has contacted me.”
TS Singhdeo said, “I then told them the same thing which I am going to tell now that many generations of my family have lived in Congress and I will continue with this tradition.” He spoke openly on the decision of the post of Chief Minister.
TS Singhdev was involved in the race for the post of CM along with Bhupesh Baghel. TS Singhdeo said, “Four people were called to Delhi after the 2018 assembly elections. Bhupesh Baghel, Dr. Charandas Mahant, Tamradhwaj Sahu and I were called for the post of CM. After this, the decision was taken by the leadership there regarding the post of CM. Let us tell you that the assembly elections are going to be held in Chhattisgarh next year.
