Making a big announcement, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced free Ayodhya Yatra for the elders of Delhi under the pilgrimage scheme. The first train of this journey will leave on December 3. In this regard, Kejriwal said that the registration for this has started. The government will also undertake pilgrimages to Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and now Christian shrines.
Let us tell you that Kejriwal said about this, ‘After visiting Ramlala in Ayodhya, I felt that arrangements should be made for the elders of Delhi to visit Ram temple. Recently I announced to include Ayodhya Yatra in Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana. I am very happy to announce today that the registration for Ayodhya has started and the first train will leave on 3rd December.” Let us tell you, you can register for this journey from the portal of Delhi Government.
Kejriwal further said that the yatra is absolutely free for the elderly and even an attendant is allowed to accompany the elderly person on the yatra. He further said that we have arranged the best hotels and AC trains so that the elders of Delhi do not face any problem. In such a situation, if the registration for the first train is completed, then the government will arrange for the second and third trains.
For information, let us tell you that according to Kejriwal, people of the Christian community have complained that none of their religious places have been included in the scheme. Keeping this in mind the visit to Velankanni Church will be included in the pilgrimage. It is worth noting that under this scheme, more than 36000 elderly people of Delhi have made pilgrimage.
