The number of patients undergoing treatment on April 13 was 10,870, which increased to 11,860 by Tuesday. That is, there has been an increase of 9.10 percent in the number of patients getting treatment in six days. Although this increase is very slight, but experts say that we should understand this sign and adopt the measures used to prevent corona. Of these, the rules of masks and proper distance are the most important.
Schools have started in all states and union territories. In such a situation, there has also been an increase in the cases of infection of students. Doctors say that children have reached classes after two years and many of them have not even been vaccinated, hence cases of infection are coming. However, doctors say that there is no need to panic because its effect on children is very less. Virologist Shashank Tripathi of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore says that the corona virus is still among us. So we have to continue with our security measures for now. He said that first of all, try not to go in the crowd and if it is necessary to go, then definitely put on a mask. Apart from this, follow the rule of proper distance as far as possible.
On April 8, the Union Health Ministry had warned the governments of Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Mizoram and Maharashtra, indicating an increase in the infection rate in the states. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, in a letter to these state officials, had said that the places of new cases of corona should be closely monitored. The investigation should be increased further in such places. Apart from this, samples of the infected were asked to be sent for genome sequencing as per the rules and full vaccination of the population eligible for vaccination in the state.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, after 1,247 cases of corona in the country in a day, the total number of infected people increased to 4,30,45,527. After the death of one person due to infection in Uttar Pradesh, the death toll has increased to 5,21,966. An increase of 318 was recorded in the number of patients undergoing treatment in 24 hours.
The national rate of recovery of patients is 98.76 percent. According to the data, the daily rate of infection is 0.31 percent and the weekly rate is 0.34 percent. So far, a total of 4,25,11,701 people have become infection free in the country and the death rate from corona is 1.21 percent. At the same time, more than 186.72 crore doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
