Yati Narasimhanand, the chief priest of Dasna Devi temple in Ghaziabad and accused in the hate speech case in Haridwar, has once again given a provocative speech on Sunday. Yeti Narasimhananda was speaking at the Burari Maidan in Delhi, where the Hindu Mahapanchayat was organised. Here he also called upon the Hindus to take up arms to fight for their existence.
In the event of Hindu Mahapanchayat at Burari Maidan in Delhi, Yeti Narasimhanand said that if a Muslim becomes the Prime Minister in India, then in the next 20 years 50 percent of the Hindus will be converted. About 200 people had gathered on Sunday to take part in this Hindu Mahapanchayat organized at Burari Maidan in Delhi. The event was organized by Preet Singh, founder of Save India Foundation.
Preet Singh, the founder of Save India Foundation, is the same person who did a program at Jantar Mantar last year. At that time also anti-Muslim slogans were raised in the program. Then Delhi Police had also arrested Preet Singh in that case and at present he is out on bail. At the same time, the head priest of Dasna Devi temple, Yeti Narasimhanand, is also out on bail in the Haridwar case.
While addressing the Hindu Mahapanchayat, Narasimhanand also said that “If a Muslim becomes the PM in India, 40 percent of the Hindus will be killed. If you want to change that, be a man. What is it like to be a man? A man is one who keeps a weapon with him. At the same time, Delhi Police has said that there was no permission to organize the event. According to Preet Singh’s Twitter account, this event was planned from January 4 this year.
Another case came to the fore during the event when some journalists alleged that they were assaulted. At the same time, some also alleged that he was detained by the Delhi Police from the venue and taken to the Mukherjee Nagar police station. However, Delhi Police has denied the allegation.
DCP North West Usha Rangrani said that some journalists of their own free will, to avoid the crowd which was getting agitated by their presence, sat in the PCR van deployed at the venue and opted to go to the police station due to security reasons. No one was taken into custody. They were provided with proper police protection.
