Bhandara, According to the circular issued by the Higher Technical Education Department on 25 January 2022, orders have been given to start regular classes in all the universities and their affiliated colleges of the state. But action was expected in other educational institutions on the same lines, but the tribal community hostels were still closed. Due to which many academic losses were being caused to the students. All India Tribal Development Council raised this issue and got success.
In this regard, tribal leader Vinod Vatti told that under the guidance of Praveen Udapure, Senate member of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj University, a demand was made that regular hostels for students preparing for medical and other vocational courses as well as education for the same competitive examinations. Students cannot be deprived of educational books, computer facilities, library, free internet, subsistence allowance by providing them.
A delegation of students led by Vinod Vatti, a tribal leader of Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Vikas Parishad met the Ekatmik Adivasi Vikas Prakalpa Adhikari and urged that the poor and deprived students from outside the district should be saved from any kind of educational loss. He also requested the tribal hostels of the district to issue orders immediately.
This demand was accepted and immediate order was issued. On this occasion, Tribal Development Council District President Vinod Watti, Senate members Praveen Udapure, Yashwant Bhoyar, student representatives Ganesh Wadwe, Latish Tekam, Ghanshyam Raut, Pankaj Madavi, Sheetal Uikey, Satish Madavi, Sumeet Uikey, Avinash Uikey, Prashant Dhanwate, Rahul Pandhe, Ashish Uike and young social worker were present.
