Anil Deshmukh’s property attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act
Mumbai, July 16 (IANS)| The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached properties worth around Rs 4.21 crore of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and his family. Officials gave this information here on Friday. Under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the attached property is in the name of Deshmukh’s wife Aarti Deshmukh and a company, Premier Port Links Pvt Ltd.

These include a residential flat in Worli worth Rs 1.54 crore, 25 land plots worth Rs 2.67 crore in Dhootum village of Raigad district adjoining Mumbai. This action has been taken as part of the money laundering probe registered against him.
