A person named Ashish, a resident of Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, has claimed that he had gone to a branch of State Bank of India in short pants, due to which he was not allowed to enter the bank. The staff told that only if the flowers come wearing pants, they will get admission. Have complained to SBI on Twitter about the misbehavior with you. In which the question is asked whether there is any dress code to enter the bank? Is there any circular for giving bank admission on the basis of dress? Ashish told that he is not the first person to be the victim of such behavior. A few years ago, a customer had gone to the Tilaknagar Road branch of SBI in Pune wearing shorts pants, from which he was also sent back.
Quickly responding to the tweet of the complainant Ashish, SBI said that no dress code has been fixed for the customers. The customer can come to the branch wearing the desired clothes according to the norms, tradition and culture accepted by the local people for wearing in public places. If the complainant sends the code of the branch, action will definitely be taken.
