Former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala has proved his love for education along with politics. He passed the Haryana Board 10th and 12th examinations last year at the age of 87. However, due to technical constraints, he has now got the certificate.
The Haryana Education Board officials handed over his mark sheet and certificate to Indian National Lok Dal leader Om Prakash Chautala, who arrived as the chief guest at the 428th birth anniversary celebrations of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap in Bhiwani on Monday. He has got 88 marks out of 100 in the highest English subject in the exam. Chautala was in jail on corruption charges. He did his studies and preparations from there.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan has congratulated him on his success. Actually, the story of actor Abhishek Bachchan’s film Dasvi, released a few days ago, is similar to the life of Om Prakash Chautala. In this too, a former chief minister goes to jail on charges of corruption and from there he completes his studies and passes the tenth examination.
Earlier in 2021, the 12th result of former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala was withheld. In fact, the Haryana Board says that unless the former CM passes the examination of English or Hindi subject as an additional subject, he will not be passed 12th. However, later Chautala took the test of English subject and successfully passed it.
If sources are to be believed, Omprakash Chautala had passed the 10th class examination from the National Institute of Open School, Delhi. The former CM did not pass the exam in 10th class in English and Hindi subjects. However, he was passed in 10th class because according to the institute it was not mandatory to pass in English and Hindi subjects. But this is not the case in Haryana Board. In Haryana Board, until the candidate does not pass the examination of English or Hindi subject in 10th, he is not considered to have passed.
Taking and clearing the exam at this point of age is a great achievement. At present, Omprakash Chautala is away from politics for a long time. His supporters have expressed happiness over his success.
