In such a situation, people going to visit high tourist places need to be very careful. A similar tragic accident has happened with tourists in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
According to media reports, a landslide incident has been reported near Gunsa of Batesari in Kinnaur district. Nine people have died in this accident and three have been reported injured. The victims of the accident were tourists from Delhi and Chandigarh.

According to the information, the accident happened when the vehicle of the tourists got hit by the falling rocks. The accident happened with a tourist vehicle going from Chitkul to Sangla. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local administration became alert and relief and rescue operations were started. Local Congress MLA Jagat Singh Negi is also monitoring the situation.
It has also been reported that the bridge over Baspa river for Batesari village has also been broken due to landslide, cutting off the connectivity of the villagers with the nearby areas. Several vehicles have been reported to have been damaged due to slipping rocks.
