The court clearly said, “You should not misuse the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) system. Who built the Taj Mahal first go and do research. Go to university Do PhD…after studies, the court will come.” The court also raised the question whether history will be read according to the petitioner.
During the hearing, the petitioner had also requested the court that he wanted to go inside the Taj Mahal and see things. Petitioner said, “Please, allow me to go and see the rooms there.” To this request of the petitioner, the court responded in a stern tone and said – tomorrow you will come and ask us to let us go to the chambers of respected judges too?
On the other hand, in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi case, the Allahabad High Court has directed a Mathura court to dispose of all the applications within four months.
