Sometimes there are reports of disputes regarding mask checking. In such a situation, a case of beating of an army jawan by a policeman has come to light in Jharkhand. The policemen not only thrashed the army personnel, but they were also lathi-charged. All this happened during mask checking. It is being said that the jawan was not wearing a mask. When the people of the village protested against this act, a case was registered against the police at Mayurhand police station. Chatra Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan said, “I have asked the DSP headquarters to conduct an inquiry. Though it was the fault of both the sides, we have suspended one head constable and two constables. Whether it is an army jawan or a common man, policemen are not expected to behave like this. According to the information received, three accused policemen have been suspended.
