A horrifying video of the violence that took place in Jodhpur over flag planting has surfaced, in which it can be seen how the rioters ran a youth going on a bike and stabbed him in the back. Let us inform that violence started in Jodhpur on the night of May 2 and on the morning of May 3, over the installation of flag on the statue of freedom fighter Balmukud Bissa at Jalori Gate intersection in the city. However, now the situation is back to normal here.
It can be seen in the footage of the CCTV cameras installed here that on May 3, around 11 o’clock, when the violence broke out after the prayers and the police chased them away, the rioters continued to attack the people who came out of the streets while running.
During the violence, a youth named Lokesh rode the bike and Deepak also sat behind on his bike. During this, a rioter started chasing the bike while running and he stabbed Deepak with a knife.
Lokesh told, “The rioter had a cloth tied over his mouth. They were shouting that kill them and cut them. On seeing this, we started alerting people. Then it is not known when a rioter stabbed him. Deepak fainted as soon as he got the knife. He started asking to stop the bike. Got in a state of falling. Once I felt that the stone was hurt. He also said that he was stoned to stop the bike, but in the circumstances that were at that time, it was not right to stop the bike.
Lokesh told that when he reached Mahila Bagh Hospital, one and a half kilometer away with Deepak, it was found that he had been stabbed in the back, not a stone. From here he was taken to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. Deepak was taken to the operation theater at around three o’clock in the evening and the doctors took out the knife in the back.
According to the District Police Commissionerate regarding the violence in Jodhpur, FIRs have been registered against the rioters in many places. So far more than 22 FIRs have been registered in this case, out of which 20 have been identified and taken on police remand. With the help of the pictures of the rioters captured in the CCTV footage, the police is trying to nab them.
