New ATM opened to meet the needs of local people as well as travelers
India’s largest bank State Bank India has started a floating ATM at Dal Sarovar in Jammu and Kashmir for locals and tourists. This floating ATM was inaugurated by the bank’s chairman Dinesh Khare on 16 August. The bank said that apart from fulfilling the long standing demand of ATMs in this way, the ATM will also add to the charm of Srinagar.
SBI tweeted that the bank’s floating ATM will cater to the needs of tourists as well as locals visiting Dal Sarovar in Srinagar. This floating ATM also got a good response from the local customers. People also liked this campaign of the bank on Twitter. The chairman, who came to inaugurate the floating ATM, also visited the Srinagar branch. It is worth mentioning that this is one of the oldest branch of the bank which has come up in Srinagar.

This branch has been functioning since the time State Bank of India was known as State Bank Imperial Bank of India.
