Petrol engine can be converted into electric scooter at a cost of only 20 thousand
The demand for electric vehicles is increasing across the country. In such a situation, many new companies are launching their vehicles in the market. In view of the ever-increasing prices of petrol, people are now leaning more towards electrical vehicles. However, if you are troubled by the rising prices of petrol, then there is no special need for you to buy a new e-scooter for this. Let us tell you that even after giving subsidy by the government, the price of electric vehicles is very high for the common people.
However, a solution has been found by Bounce, a Bangalore-based startup company, which is converting petrol vehicles into electric vehicles. The company converts any petrol engine scooter into an electric scooter by installing an electric motor and battery. For this the company charges only 20 thousand rupees. The Bounce company had so far converted more than a thousand petrol scooters into electric scooters. According to a Bloomberg report, the company puts retrofit kits in the old scooter. In which there is an electric motor and battery, which runs up to 65 kilometers on a single charge.
Bounce co-founder Vivekananda Hallekar said that the company had started converting the old traditional scooter into electric scooter as a pilot project. After this the company started it on a large scale. The company is also planning to start a service station for its customers. After Bounce, many other companies have also started work on this project. Out of these, a company named Meladath is going to launch this hybrid kit, under which the scooter can be run in any mode, petrol or electric.
