Unnao. There will be a direct contest between SP’s Sunil Singh and BJP’s Ramchandra Pradhan in the fray after the papers of three out of five candidates were rejected for the Lucknow-Unnao seat for the Legislative Council elections. A total of 4019 voters will cast their votes in this seat. There are total 1376 voters in Lucknow and 2643 in Unnao. After the withdrawal of nomination, both the parties are trying hard to make their candidate win.
While the ruling party has asked the organizations and RSS teams to reach village to village in addition to MPs and MLAs to bring heads, area panchayat members, while the Samajwadi Party to maintain the presence of its strong partner in the Legislative Council. Wants to save this seat at all costs. Out of total 1375 voters of Lucknow, Nagar Panchayat members are 107, councilors 110, total head 494, total area panchayat members 628, total district panchayat members 25, total MLAs 9, total MPs 2.
While the number of voters of Unnao is 2683, out of which Nagar Panchayat and Nagar Palika President are 18, total councilors 281, total head 1043, total area panchayat members 1282, total district panchayat members 51, MLA 6 and one MP.
While in power in the last election, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had done the work of getting the then BJP candidate Anirudh Singh Chandel to be made MLC unopposed in some way to take his friend Sunil Singh to the Legislative Council, but at the present time the situation is opposite to that. Huh.
