Illegal property worth crores of rupees has been unearthed with an assistant teacher in Madhya Pradesh. During the raid of the Economic Offenses Cell (EoW) of Gwalior, a shocking case has come to light that the assistant teacher, who got a total salary of only thousand, illegally collected property worth crores of rupees during his 16 years of service. The name of this assistant teacher is Prashant Parmar, whose net of assets collected through illegal means is spread in Madhya Pradesh as well as in other states.
During the investigation, it has been revealed that the assistant teacher has many schools, colleges, 4 luxurious houses, offices and marriage gardens. At the same time, cash and jewelery worth lakhs of rupees have been found from his house.
TI Satish Chaturvedi of Gwalior’s Economic Offenses Cell (EoW) told that Prashant Singh Parmar is an assistant teacher. Complaints were received against them that during the service, illegal assets worth crores of rupees have been acquired by Parmar. Further the officer said that the raids are going on at four places. His college at Noorabad has also been raided. When asked about the entire property, the official said that the list of investigations is very long and anything can be said only after the proceedings are over.
Rs 3500 was the first salary: Prashant Parmar is originally from Rajasthan. At present, he is posted as an assistant teacher in a government school in Ghatigaon, Gwalior. In 2006, he started his job as an assistant teacher in a government high school in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh with just Rs 3500. Talking about salary only from his 16 years of job, he makes around 20 lakhs only.
Access to Higher Officials in Bhopal: According to media reports, Prashant Parmar is considered to be the education mafia of the network of BEd, DEd and Nursing colleges of Gwalior and its surrounding districts. He has access to the top education officers present in Bhopal. Some big executives have invested in his colleges.
