A boy and a girl were killed in a horrific accident on Sunday in Arakudi, Pimpri Chinchwad, Maharashtra. Here the speeding sports bike collided with a car parked on the middle road. After the accident, a bike lying on the side of the road caught fire.
According to the information, 25-year-old Aryan Parmar and 21-year-old Shweta Ashok Gajbhiye died in the accident. The accident happened when both Shweta and Aryan were passing through a KTM sports bike. The speed of the bike at the time of the accident is said to be 120 kmph. According to reports, the incident, which happened around 3 pm on Sunday, was caught on a CCTV camera installed in a shop on the side of the highway.
According to the Akurdi police, after hitting the rear of the car, the bike jumped several feet in the air and hit the divider between Shweta and Aryan. After the collision, both of them suffered serious head injuries due to which both died on the spot. While slipping on the road, his bike also collided with a passing scooty and two girls riding in it also fell some further. Locals said that both the girls have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
As soon as the bike fell, the petrol coming out of it caught fire and within a few seconds the whole bike caught fire. By the time the fire brigade reached the spot, the entire bike was burnt to ashes.
