Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while sharing the news published in an English daily, has attacked PM Modi for not reaching the pension in the account of thousands of ex-servicemen in April 2022 and no reason has been given by the government about this. He tweeted that after the deception of ‘One Rank, One Pension’, now the Modi government is adopting the policy of ‘All Rank, No Pension’. Insulting soldiers is an insult to the country. The government should give pension to ex-servicemen at the earliest.”
Ever since the government has implemented the new online pension disbursement system, complaints have been received many times in the recent past about not reaching the pension in the account. This is their only source of income for many ex-servicemen. According to the news, (retd) Lt Gen DS Hooda has requested Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to intervene in this matter.
However, many people have also commented on Rahul Gandhi’s tweet. A user named Arun Arora @Arun2981 wrote, “Woke up to sleep? How was the party last night?” King Kohli @i_am_musafir wrote, “Inflation is so high that instead of Bangkok, Nepal has to go to work….”
