Congress leaders are analyzing in different ways about the defeat of the Congress and the victory of the BJP in the assembly elections of five states. In this sequence, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot said that PM Modi misleads the public with his clever speeches. He said that the issues were not visible in the recent elections, people have voted by believing in the speeches of the PM.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said these things while talking to the media after a program in Jaipur. He said that everyone is aware of the mismanagement of the times of Corona in the country and in UP, but the BJP changed the minds of the people with its propaganda machinery.
Ashok Gehlot said- “Narendra Modi speaks tactfully and people believe that if the PM is speaking then the truth will be there. PM accuses opposition of defaming agencies but entire nation can see what is happening today, they can see what is happening in India, what is happening with IT, ED, CBI? The world can see how the country is being raided.
Gehlot further said that the Congress will have to take the truth to the common people. Only then the Bharatiya Janata Party will be exposed and the truth will come out. It is the job of the opposition to bring out the truth. He said that BJP won by fronting Hindutva. In these elections, BJP has been successful in diverting public attention to the issues.
Let us inform that a meeting of the Congress Working Committee is to be held on Sunday regarding the defeat in five states. Before that Gehlot has given this statement. Apart from this, Gehlot’s statement came after Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar said that the Congress cannot remain united without the Gandhi family. Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole has also given a similar statement.
