The minister had gone to inspect the flood affected areas, seeing the people trapped in the flood, climbed on the roof and got trapped and got stuck on the roof itself.
Flood situation is prevailing in Madhya Pradesh for the last several days. Due to which many villages have been submerged in water. Home Minister Narottam Mishra had reached Datia on Wednesday to see these flood-affected villages. Where wearing a life jacket, he inspected the rescue work being done by NDRF and SDRF. However, when the Home Minister, who was supervising the rescue work, reached Kotra, he himself was trapped by the flood waters. He was then pulled out of the flood situation by helicopter.
In fact, Narottam Mishra was inspecting the flood-hit areas wearing a life jacket in a motorboat of NDRF. During this time he had reached Kotra village. Where he saw some people trapped in a house in the flood. Seeing this, he himself climbed on the roof of the house. SDRF rescued everyone from the house, but the minister himself was trapped there. After which he was rescued through helicopter. However, before this all the four people were rescued and taken to a safe place.
After inspecting the flood affected areas, Narittam Mishra had ordered to make arrangements for food and lodging for all. The minister said that the condition of the villages on the banks of the river is very bad due to the floods in the river Indus. They are constantly being rescued and taken to a safe place by the Army and Air Force. Let us inform that due to the floods in Madhya Pradesh, there has been heavy flooding in many areas. Many places have become islands. During the flood, the police had started the rescue work, which is now being carried forward by the army.
