This person named Farid Khan was caught by the police while driving without a helmet near Nampally. When the police entered the registration number of his vehicle to generate his challan, it was found that 117 memos are already pending on him, the total amount of which is Rs 29720. In the last seven years, Farid Khan had not paid the penalty of even a single challan. Due to this, his vehicle was confiscated by the police.
After seizing the car, the police asked Farid Khan to pay the entire amount of the challan along with interest to get the car back. Let us tell you that under the Motor Vehicle Act, if there are more than 10 memos pending on a vehicle, then the police can collect its vehicle. According to the report of the e-challan website, most of the memos received by Fareed from 2014 till now were due to non-wearing of helmets or due to improper parking.
