Anarchy in Bihar has always been complained about and the leaders of all parties have been questioned about it. Despite all efforts, land disputes, possession of government lands, etc. have not been curbed. The new case is to sell the panchayat building itself. It is alleged that Vinay Kumar of the village had donated his land for the construction of Panchayat Bhawan. Now they allege that that government property was first mortgaged and then sold by the headman and the panchayat secretary in connivance. This area falls in the Aurai assembly constituency of Bihar’s Land Reforms and Revenue Minister Ramsurat Rai.
This is not the first time such incidents are happening in Bihar. Even before this such incidents have happened. A few days ago, the iron bridge in Sasaram was gradually broken and sold by local thieves. The state of chaos is that some time ago people sold the railway engine in Samastipur. Took a deal for a health center in Kudhni.
The opposition is constantly attacking the government regarding this, but the officers are not able to rein in the thieves and people involved in corruption. Local people say that the role of the minister should also be investigated in this matter. However, in the matter of selling the Panchayat Bhavan, the Mukhiya has declared himself innocent and said that the allegation is baseless.
When the officials of the local tehsil asked for an explanation from the chief about the demolition of the panchayat building, he did not respond. It is alleged that now the officers are busy in suppressing the case.
Recently, officials blamed “strong winds” when a section of an under-construction road bridge collapsed in Bihar’s Sultanganj. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed surprise about this and said that I am surprised by this statement of the IAS officer. A section of an under-construction road bridge over the Ganga in Sultanganj collapsed during a thunderstorm on April 29. There is no report of any casualty in this incident.
