In India, everyone has a lot of reverence and faith in the mind of God. One such unique story of devotion has emerged from Karnataka. A devotee in Karnataka has bought a coconut for 6.5 lakhs by bidding. The temple in which this coconut is bidding is located in Chikkalaki village of Bagalkot district.
Mahavira made this bid for the coconut kept near Lord Malingaraya, who is also considered a form of Nandi. It is believed that whoever has this coconut, his luck shines a lot. Coconuts are being auctioned in this way for many years now. But never this bid went beyond Rs 10,000. But this time as soon as the bidding started from 1000, it immediately crossed the price of 1 lakh. After this a devotee made a bid of three lakhs.
Everyone thought that this auction would end here. But Mahavir immediately made double the bid. Mahavir made a bid of 6.5 lakhs and no one else came close to this bid. After this, coconut was given to Mahavir. After the auction, the temple’s regulatory system said that the money received from the auction of coconut would be given for the development of the temple and other religious works.
