Itanagar, July 14 (IANS)| Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) said, a jawan was killed when a vehicle carrying Army personnel crashed on Wednesday morning due to inclement weather in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Seven were seriously injured. The accident happened between Pango and Palsi in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to the ITBP, the troops (mandated to guard the India-China border and deputed to Arunachal Pradesh) rushed there immediately and critical treatment was initiated in the potential area for the injured soldiers. “One jawan died, but seven seriously injured have been taken to hospital,” the ITBP said.
