The ruckus is increasing over the survey of Gyanvapi Masjid of Banaras. On Friday, the Muslims protested, and on Saturday, the court commissioner and his team were not given entry to the mosque. Since then the survey work has come to a standstill. On the other hand, the petition filed by the Muslim parties with the demand to change the court commissioner was dismissed later in the afternoon.
Regarding the issue of the survey, a demand was made to change the court commissioner by raising objections from the Muslim side. In the court of Civil Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar, the Muslim side said that the order for videography inside the mosque was not given by the court. But the court refused to stop the survey work. After that, police force and PAC were deployed in the Gyanvapi campus for the purpose of survey.
According to the news of India Today, advocate Abhay Kumar Yadav, appearing for the Muslim side, raised questions about the impartiality of Court Commissioner Ajay Mishra in his petition. Their removal was demanded from the court. The court has asked to hear the petition for removal of the commissioner on 9 May. Both the parties have been asked to be present in the court during the hearing. On the other hand, when the court commissioner and his team reached outside the mosque on Saturday, there was a gathering of people. Everyone was opposing the team. Seeing the people, the team did not survey.

In fact, the dispute about Gyanvapi Masjid and Shringar Gauri Temple is going on continuously. Some women had filed a petition in the court regarding this. Regarding this, by appointing the court commissioner, the court had ordered videography in the mosque premises. But after the order of the court, when the videography team reached the mosque on Friday regarding the survey, there was a protest from the Muslim side.
On the other hand, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi made a strong comment on the court’s decision and said that it is like opening the way for violence. He also referred to the decision of the Supreme Court. On the other hand, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari hit back at Owaisi and said that the court has given the decision of the survey. On the one hand, Owais talks about the constitution, while on the other hand, he does not even accept the decision of the court.
