The DGP conference is being held in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, from November 19. PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will also participate in the three-day program. The DGP conference will be attended by all the senior officers including Director General of Police, DGP of all the states. With this, the Uttar Pradesh Police has started finalizing its preparations by giving necessary guidelines.
Let us tell you that for the first time the DGP’s conference is being held in the Signature Building of the Police Headquarters located at Shaheed Path of Lucknow, the country’s largest capital. CM Yogi Adityanath also inspected the Police Headquarters on Thursday. Meanwhile, CM Yogi has also given necessary instructions to the higher officials. In addition, high-rise apartments around the Signature Building have been directed not to dry clothes on the balcony from November 19 to November 21 and inform the police station if any newcomers come to stay in the apartment. The ACP of Gomtinagar said that the decision was taken keeping in mind the security arrangements.
It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Modi will reach Lucknow on the evening of 19 November to attend the DGP’s conference. The program will be attended on November 20 and 21. For the three-day event, PM Modi will spend the night in Lucknow on November 19 and 20. Home Minister Shah will inaugurate this year’s convention on November 19. Senior officers including police officers from all states will participate in this conference to be held from November 19 to 21.
