Due to this storm, there is a lot of rain and strong winds in South India. On Wednesday (May 11, 2022) morning a golden colored chariot washed away near Santabommali in North Coastal Andhra district. The local people were in awe after seeing this strange looking chariot.
Seeing the letters written on the chariot, the police are speculating that it may be of Myanmar origin. The date written on this chariot is January 16, 2022. At present, this chariot is under the control of the police.
When the local people saw this chariot in the morning, they planted it on the seashore and informed the police. After this the police took it under their control. However, it is not yet known how it has come so far.
Due to cyclonic storm Asani, there is currently a lot of disturbance in the sea and hence it is possible that this chariot got washed away. Naupada sub-inspector of police said that the letters on the chariot and its structure suggest that it may be of Myanmar origin.
The SI said, “It is made of tin sheet and has been given a gold-coloured coating. With its wheels, it looks like a worship temple.” He said that no one was present on the chariot.
