Wardha. Under the Jaljeevan Mission, water supply works are being done in a big way in the district. Under the mission, a water supply scheme worth Rs 18 crore has been approved for other 28 villages of the district. These works were approved in the meeting of the district level committee chaired by District Magistrate Prerna Deshbhratar.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sachin Ombase, Executive Engineer of Rural Water Supply Department Deepak Wagh, Senior Geologist Rajesh Sawale, Sub-Divisional Engineer of Water Supply Department, Vilas Kalbande were present in the meeting along with the District Magistrate.
Under the Jaljeevan Mission, water supply works are being done in the district through planning method. Under the campaign, in order to get pure and necessary water for every village, it is necessary to work. After preparing proposals for such villages, it has been recognized by the committee headed by the District Magistrate.
The district has been prepared under the Jaljeevan Mission. Water supply works will be done under the format. In the villages where there is no plan for water supply, a new scheme is being run in such villages. In some villages, as per the need, works of tap connection and in some places corrective reconnection, pipe line, water tank, distribution system will be done. Through these works, water will be made available to every citizen as per the requirement. Earlier, 85 proposals have been approved in four phases. In the recently held meeting, the proposal has been approved for other 28 villages due to the presentation of the complete proposal. With this approval, a total of 113 proposals have been approved from the mission so far.
The meeting was attended by Vadgaon (Jn), Deurwada, Jamani, Bori (Ko), Chanki of Selu Tehsil, Juna and Naveen Antora of Ashti Tehsil, Kakdara, Wadala, Umri of Karanja Tehsil, Selgaon Lavane, Nandgaon (Ka) of Hinganghat Tehsil, Sultanpur. , Ladki, Kadajna, Govindpur, Ghodegaon of Deoli tehsil, Kharda, Bhojankheda, Akoli, Kajalsara, Ganeshpur of Samudrapur tehsil, Saigawan, Selsura, Vadad, Dhotra, Taroda, Ajgaon of Wardha tehsil are included in these 28 villages.
