Law student Mofia Parveen Dilshad, 21, committed suicide in Kerala’s Idayapuram. Mofia wrote in the suicide letter that ‘Papa you were right. He was not a good man.’ In the suicide note, Mofia has blamed her husband Mohammad Suhail, her father-in-law Yusuf and mother-in-law Rukhia for her death.
According to The Times of India, the father of the deceased Mofia said that his daughter committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her room. Her daughter was harassed fiercely by her in-laws. Not only this, Bamofia’s father told that a few days ago Mofia had also complained to the SP of Aluva. He then ordered action at Aluva police station. After this, Circle Inspector CL Sudhir of Aluva called both the parties to the police station. Inspector CL Sudhir at Aluva police station took the side of Mofia’s husband Mohammad Suhail and his relatives, leaving Mofia frustrated and she eventually committed suicide.
It is said that Mofia and Mohammad Sufail met through Facebook. They talked for a few days and then they fell in love. Both were married in April this year. According to Mofia’s father, at the time of marriage, Mohammed Suhail had told that he works in the UAE. He is also a blogger. But after marriage, Suhail said that he wants to become a film producer. So he asked for 40 lakh rupees from Mofia in dowry. Mofia did not believe in dowry. So he refused. After this Mofia was harassed by her in-laws.
