Delhi Commission for Women has adopted a tough stand, orders have been given to apprehend the accused by the 25th and give their information
The Delhi Women’s Commission has taken a tough stand when the case of sexual harassment and molestation with girls by some boys in New Delhi, India’s capital, has come to the fore. The Women’s Commission has issued a notice to the DCP of Delhi Police and has put forth its demand to arrest the FIR registered against all the boys.
According to the detailed information, the Women’s Commission told that late night some girls were passing through Hauz Khas area of Delhi. Then a group of boys misbehaved with these girls and asked them their rates for sexual activities. After molesting the boys in this way, the girls made a video of them and posted them on social media and informed about the whole incident with them. All the girls were from North East.

The matter also came to the notice of the Delhi Commission for Women as soon as the post went viral on social media. Due to which the Women’s Commission took a tough stand. Women’s Commission chairperson Swati Maliwal said that the matter is very serious and has demanded the police to take the accused into custody at the earliest. The Delhi Police has been asked by the Women’s Commission to submit a copy of the FIR and the names of the accused and their information by July 25 by sending a notice to the DCP.
Swati Maliwal said that she felt very bad when she saw this. They thought that if such mistakes are not stopped, then these same people can take other big steps going forward. Due to which, taking suo motu cognizance by the Women’s Commission, has asked to register an FIR in this regard at the earliest.
