The family was not able to return home due to the soil accumulated on the road due to landslide.
What happens when the groom comes back to his in-laws’ house after an hour of marriage? Something similar happened in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, where the procession, which took the bride after the wedding, returned to the bride’s house only an hour after the wedding. Seeing the procession coming back, the ground slipped from under the feet of the bride’s side, however when the whole matter came to light, the family came to life.
According to detailed information, a family in Ropa village of Mandi district had married off their daughter. The family was sitting to rest after leaving the daughter when suddenly they saw the procession in front of the house back in the courtyard of their house. Seeing this scene, the family members of the girl were very frightened. However, when the reality came to light, the bride and groom and the procession were again welcomed by the family members of the girl.
In fact, when the procession was going back after parting, the road was closed due to a landslide in the nearby hilly area. Due to bad weather and late night, the soil accumulated due to the landslide could not be removed. Due to which the procession got stuck in the middle of the way. Being trapped, the groom’s family considered it more appropriate to go back to the bride’s house instead of staying on the way. Due to which he went back to the bride’s house. However, during this time many people had reached home on foot.
Seeing the procession coming back within an hour, the family was very scared at first. However, when the bride’s family came to know about it, they had made arrangements for accommodation and food for everyone. After which on the second day after the removal of soil and stones from the road, the groom returned home with his bride.
