Religious places of Uttar Pradesh will be connected with major routes, Rs 5.45 crore allocated by the government

New Delhi. Expressways have now become the new identity of Uttar Pradesh. Along with the expressways, the state government is also speeding up the highways and other major routes. An amount of Rs 5.45 crore has been allocated by the Uttar Pradesh government for the installation and other beautification of important highways, bridges and roads of the state. This amount has been released to the Public Works Department for 14 ongoing works. The most important thing in this is that under this, all the religious places of the state should be connected with the major routes. It is noteworthy that in the last 5 years, the Yogi government had given instructions for widening and beautification of major roads along the expressway to improve the connectivity of the state.

Neglected religious places will get new identity
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Public Works Department has been working for the past several days to connect all the religious places of the state with major roads. With this amount released by the Finance Department, this work is also expected to accelerate. Many of these are religious places, which were in dilapidated condition due to the neglect of the earlier governments. But after becoming the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has paid attention to the renovation of these neglected religious places along with major religious places. Districts like Kanpur, Sonbhadra, Agra, Varanasi, Ballia, Lucknow, Chandauli, Siddharth Nagar, Saharanpur and Chitrakoot have many religious places which are to be connected by major routes. For this, an amount of Rs 5 crore 45 lakh and Rs 10 thousand has been approved by the Finance Department of the state. Earlier in July, an amount of 19 crore 57 lakh 44 thousand was allocated for 32 ongoing works. These 32 ongoing works include works in Aligarh, Pilibhit, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Lucknow, Unnao, Barabanki and Prayagraj districts.

Entrance gates will be made on the routes
Information about allocation of funds has been given in the mandate issued by the Uttar Pradesh government. Under this, entrance gates will also be constructed on the roads in many districts of the state, while widening and beautification work of many roads will also be done. The state government is also getting widening of many highways. There has been a rapid increase in the number of vehicles on the highways, due to which the speed has come down. Yogi government is working to increase the speed of vehicles on these highways. For this, many overbridges are being built on the highways, nearby land is being acquired for widening and the process of demolition of illegal encroachments is going on.
