According to the SSP, Akash and Himanshu along with one of their companions had gone out to get some goods at around 8.30 pm. All three were on the bike. His bike collided with another vehicle near Taj Hotel. According to Akash and Himanshu, the youths of the other community in the vehicle abused and thrashed them. Only then Himanshu’s companion Ankit came out from there. He objected. On this, the youths in the vehicle and the employees of Taj Hotel intensified the fight. After this, people from both sides gathered in the area. There was fierce stone pelting on both sides. After getting the news of violence, SSP, IG Deepak Kumar, DM Indravikram Singh reached the spot with a large force.
