New Delhi. The controversy over the racist remarks of Rahul Gandhi’s advisor, Indian Overseas Congress President Sam Pitroda, escalated to such an extent that he had to resign from his post. The Congress party has already distanced itself from his statement. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to other BJP leaders, they are verbally attacking Sam Pitroda, while now Rahul Gandhi’s brother-in-law and his sister Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra also reacted strongly to Sam Pitroda’s statement and termed it as nonsense.
#WATCH , On being asked if Sam Pitroda is giving remarks on the directions of BJP, Robert Vadra says “No. What happens is that if someone retires and is sitting in some corner of the world, they want their name should be raised, their name should also be included in whatever is… pic.twitter.com/hcVOfUpWV3

On Sam Pitroda’s comment, Robert Vadra said, when you are associated with the Gandhi family, with great power comes great responsibility. You have to think many times before taking any step. I completely disagree with what Sam Pitroda has said. He has talked nonsense. How can a person who is so educated say this? Robert said, Sam was very close to Rajiv Gandhi but he should be a little responsible. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are trying but one of their statements gives BJP an opportunity to raise unnecessary issues.
Sam Pitroda said in a statement on Wednesday that the people of the East in India look like Chinese citizens. Whereas the people of the West look like Arabs and the people living in the North probably look like the citizens of European countries. Whereas if we talk about the South, the people there look like Africans. After this statement of Sam, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh immediately distanced himself from the statement by posting on social media and wrote that the analogies given by Sam Pitroda to the diversities of India are extremely wrong and unacceptable. The Indian National Congress completely disassociates itself from these analogies.
