new Delhi . Four people allegedly robbed a businessman of around Rs 2 crore in North Delhi’s Rohini area. The police gave this information on Wednesday. The incident happened on March 29 at 9.14 pm. The incident took place when Karan Agarwal, owner of a steel pipe factory, was going from Chandni Chowk to his nephew’s house after depositing money along with his driver Dharmendra Kumar.
He had cash of around Rs 1,97,00,000.
DCP Rohini Pranav Tayal said that when they reached near Pocket 21, Sector 24, Rohini, an unidentified person came on scooty, blocked the way of their car and started arguing with them.
A minute later, a minute later, three more people arrived, one of them broke the driver’s side car window and snatched the car key, the police officer said.
According to a video accessed by -AnyTV News, the four accused opened the trunk of the car and took all the money in three bags and fled the spot.
Police have registered a case under sections 392 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code at Budh Vihar police station and started investigation.
No one has been arrested so far.
