The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh usually expresses its opinion on political, social and cultural issues, but perhaps this is the first time that it has passed a resolution on the issue of employment. A resolution was passed on the issue of rising unemployment in the country in the All India Pratinidhi Sabha which lasted for three days in Ahmedabad. In this, an appeal has been made to the government and society that they should together prepare such an economic model so that jobs can be created. It was said in the proposal of the RSS that in the changed situation after Corona, it becomes even more important that employment should be created rapidly.
This resolution was passed in the meeting of the All India Pratinidhi Sabha. In this meeting, 1,200 officials of the Sangh including Mohan Bhagwat were present. This is very special because in the last 7 years, only on issues like family system, language, Ram temple, violence in Bengal and Kerala, increasing imbalance between Hindu and Muslim population were presented by the Sangh. Presenting the proposal, RSS’s Saha Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said that due to Corona, the livelihood of the people has also been threatened. Some effort is needed to remove it.
“We have passed the resolution,” he said. We know about the potential of India and its people. We know how to become self-reliant. But we have to make some efforts to implement this. Even things like agro based and handicrafts can be a medium of employment generation in the country. The union in its proposal has also talked about implementing economic policies based on Indianness for employment generation. “We have seen how challenges arise due to migration,” the proposal said. Therefore, we need a model of sustainable development. We want universities, small businesses and social organizations to come together and make a common effort to solve this problem.
