Russia Ukraine conflict: The Security Council of Ukraine has approved a plan to declare a national emergency in the country in view of the growing fear of Russia’s attack. Ukraine’s top security officials said the state of emergency would last for 30 days and could be extended for another 30 days. At the same time, the Ukrainian Ministry has urged all its citizens living in Russia to leave the country immediately. On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized two Russian-backed separatist regions in eastern Ukraine – Donetsk and the Luhansk People’s Republic – as “independent” countries. At the same time, the Russian army has entered this area. Russia-Ukraine tensions have reached a peak after Putin’s decision.

On the other hand, Russian President Putin has again said that he is ready to resolve the issue through talks, but there will be no compromise with Russia’s interests. Earlier, Putin had asked Parliament for permission to use military force outside the country, which he got immediately. In a televised address to the nation on Monday night, he made it clear that Russian forces would enter Eastern Europe and work to restore peace in separatist areas. According to the President’s mandate, Russian forces have reached Luhansk and Donetsk to maintain peace. The whole world including Ukraine is considering it as an attack.
