Russsia-Ukraine Crisis: The Indian government is making every effort to rescue the Indians trapped in Ukraine. If needed, the help of the Air Force will also be taken in this work. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said these things in Delhi on Monday. He said that we have decided to deploy special envoys in 4 countries bordering Ukraine. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will go to Romania, Kiren Rijiju will go to Slovak Republic, Hardeep Singh Puri will go to Hungary and VK Singh will go to Poland. They will all coordinate and oversee the evacuation process there. He also said that the Indian government would also send humanitarian aid including medicines to Ukraine.
Arindam Bagchi, while issuing a new advisory for Indian students trapped in Ukraine, said that we request all Indian citizens and students to go towards Western Ukraine. You should not go there directly towards the border, because there is a lot of crowd on the border. We request you to visit the nearest city near the border. You stop there, our teams will help there.
We request Indians to go to West Ukraine but don’t reach the border directly as there’s rush there, it’ll take time. Go to nearby cities, seek shleter there. We’re making arrangements there, our teams will help you. Don’t panic, we have enough flights: MEA pic.twitter.com/w8JUG2vFSW

Arindam Bagchi informed that a new route through Moldova has also started now. Our team will assist you. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia himself will oversee the evacuation process in Moldova. If needed, we will take the help of the Indian Air Force to get the Indians out of Ukraine safely.
Let us tell you that more than half a million people have left Ukraine after the Russian invasion. Due to the continuous exodus, there is a huge crowd at the border. In such a situation, Indian students are facing a lot of problems at the border. The Indian government has urged not to show anger at train stations in Ukraine and try to leave peacefully. Let us tell you that India is continuously airlifting its citizens under ‘Operation Ganga’. So far, around 8,000 Indian nationals have left Ukraine. There are frequent flights operating from Bucharest (Romania) and Budapest (Hungary).
