Srinagar. A sarpanch in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday narrowly escaped when terrorists opened fire on him. Police sources said the terrorists opened fire on Sarpanch Ghulam Nabi Kumar in Arihal village of Pulwama district on Saturday afternoon, but he narrowly escaped.
“The area has been cordoned off for search,” police sources said.
On Friday, terrorists killed a sarpanch in Kulgam district and another sarpanch was killed by terrorists in Khonmoh outskirts of Srinagar city on March 9.
