Regarding the attack on the famous Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur on Sunday evening, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar has said that whatever documents have been found so far, they are very sensational. Giving details of the attack, he said that based on the investigation so far, it cannot be denied that it was not a terrorist attack. At the same time, ACS Home Avnish Awasthi has said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for the policemen who foiled the attack.
ACS Home Avneesh Awasthi said, “The attack on police personnel in Gorakhnath temple is part of a conspiracy. It can be called a terrorist incident. ”He said that the investigation of this entire incident has been given to the UP ATS. The Chief Minister has ordered that UP ATS and UP STF will work together. A cash reward of Rs 5 lakh has been announced for the three jawans who foiled the incident, Gopal Gaur, Anil Paswan and Anurag Rajput. The Chief Minister has ordered that whatever information has been received in its laptop-mobile should be seriously investigated. If needed, evidence will also be collected from outside the state.
Serious conspiracy was prepared
ADG Law and Order said that at 7 pm a man attacked the policemen at gate number one and raised religious slogans. Two jawans Gopal Gaur and Anil Paswan have suffered serious injuries. The alert policemen there overpowered the person and arrested him. From what has been recovered from him, it seems that this was a preparation for a serious conspiracy. We cannot deny that this was not a terrorist incident. ATS team has gone there. The documents that we have got are quite sensational.
Security review of important institutions
He said that a case has been registered at Gorakhnath police station. Right now the security plan of all the important institutions has been reviewed by the government. Under this, more posts have been sanctioned there. Under this review, the Gorakhnath Temple, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura and other important buildings were protected. Had this person reached inside, the devotees could have been harmed. The situation could have been out of control. The officers arrested the accused with utmost restraint.
