174 votes cast in favor of no-confidence motion
Imran Khan’s government lost a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly in a democratic transition in Pakistan for the first time in 72 years after its formation. House Speaker Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri, who were members of Imran’s party PTI, also resigned from their respective posts.
