Another video of a priest threatening Muslim women with rape has gone viral on social media. To this, senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that these thugs do not represent Hinduism in the same way as an Islamic State extremist represents Islam. Tharoor insisted that the vast majority of Hindus reject and reject elements that speak only for themselves and not for us or for all Hindus.
In fact, a new controversy has arisen in Uttar Pradesh due to the controversial and provocative talk of a Mahant. A video of Mahant Bajrang Muni Das has surfaced in which he is threatening to rape daughters-in-law of another community for molesting Hindu girls. It is being told that this video is from April 2. Mahant Bajrang Muni Das of Maharishi Shri Laxman Das Udasi Ashram gave this provocative speech during the procession organized in Sitapur regarding Navratri and Hindu New Year. In the video, Bajrang Muni Das can be heard saying that if a Hindu girl is molested by people belonging to a particular community, then she will take her daughter-in-law out of the house and rape her in public.
As a Hindu I can say with confidence to Muslim friends that thugs like this do not represent my faith any more than a Daesh extremist represents yours. The vast majority of Hindus reject & disown such elements. They do not speak for us or for Hindus anywhere. only themselves. https://t.co/KBWx4TjoHl

What Tharoor said by tweeting…
On being threatened with rape by the Mahant, the women and children around are seen clapping. Hindustan does not independently verify the veracity of the video. Responding to the video, Tharoor tweeted, “As a Hindu I can confidently say to Muslim friends that such thugs do not represent my faith (religion) as much as an extremist represents you The vast majority of Hindus reject such elements. They do not speak anywhere for us or for Hindus. It is their personal opinion.”
National Commission for Women took cognizance of the statement
On Friday, the National Commission for Women took cognizance of a similar incident involving Bajrang Muni Das and wrote a letter to the DGP of UP, asking him to register an FIR against the hate-monger. Sitapur Additional Superintendent of Police Rajiv Dixit said a case has been registered against Pujari in Khairabad city for a viral video of hate speech.
