With this intention, Kuno Management is getting homestays ready in three villages adjacent to the park. Home stays will be built here with Sahariya families, so that tourists get indigenous style and tribals get employment sitting at home. Coono Management has tied up with Mumbai’s Last Vilniness Foundation to develop homestays around Panna Tiger Park.
African cheetahs to be introduced in Kuno-Palpur National Park. In such a situation, in Tiktoli, Daulatpura and Hathedi villages adjacent to Kuno Park, the management is preparing home stays at the Sahariyas. Tourists coming from the country and abroad will get the experience of rural areas in the home stay. According to Kuno DFO PK Verma, many tourists are curious to know the tradition and history by staying among the people. The home stay scheme will give a home-like atmosphere to the tourists. Get to know each other’s traditions. Family friendly atmosphere will be created. This scheme will take the merits of India to foreign countries. Mutual harmony will prevail. Together with each other reconciliation will increase.
Tribal families will get employment sitting at home: Under Home Stay, tribal families will also be provided training related to the convenience and safety of tourists through different institutions by the tourism department. The registered people will play the role of guide in moving the tourists around. He can earn income by mutual consent with tourists. In the home stay scheme, along with the landlord, people will get the job of caretaker, cook, sweeper and security.
Tribal youth are making guides and traveling tourists: According to DFO Verma, more than 60 youths living in tribal-dominated areas of Tiktoli, Sesaipura, Muravan, Pathari, Ahedi and Visthapati areas of Agra have been trained as tourist guides.
