New Delhi. The Calcutta High Court has given another big blow to the Mamata Banerjee government of Bengal after the teacher recruitment case. The court has cancelled about 5 lakh OBC certificates issued since 2011. The court’s decision has come in a case filed by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) 14 years ago. The RSS had demanded that only those castes which were in the OBC category till 2010 should get reservation. The Calcutta High Court ordered the cancellation of all OBC certificates issued after 2010. However, it was also clarified that all the jobs given on the basis of new certificates from 2010 till now will not be cancelled.
