New Delhi. The series of revelations continues in the Shraddha Walkar murder case. According to the newspaper ‘Amar Ujala’, Delhi Police has got fresh CCTV footage. In these footage, the accused of murdering Shraddha Walkar, her live-in partner Aftab Poonawala has been seen. The CCTV footage is from 18 October. On this date, Aftab is seen going out of his flat four times from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm. According to the newspaper, Aftab is seen carrying a bag in the footage. In such a situation, it seems that he was going to throw away the pieces of Shraddha’s dead body in the bag.
Aftab Poonawalla has told during interrogation that after the murder, he cut Shraddha’s body into pieces. He threw some pieces in the forest of Mehrauli the same day. The head, torso and fingers were placed in the newly purchased refrigerator. He threw these pieces in the forest on 18 October. Police is still searching for Shraddha Walkar’s head, torso and other body parts in Mehrauli forest. However, it has not been successful so far. Some bones were found by the police earlier. It is being told that the experts of AIIMS have described them as human bones.
After the non-recovery of Shraddha’s head and the knife used to dismember the body, now the police’s hope rests on Aftab’s narco test. The results of the Narco test are considered as evidence in the court. In Narco, if Aftab confessed to the crime and gave all the information about the case, then the police can present it as evidence in the court. Otherwise, he will have to present evidence of Aala-e-Katl i.e. knife, Shraddha’s mobile and DNA test of the dead body. DNA cannot be obtained from bones. These can only be found in Shraddha Walker’s hair or teeth. For this reason, all the soldiers of Delhi Police are busy in the search of his head.
