New Delhi. During the hearing in the Supreme Court on Wednesday, a funny incident was witnessed in a light-hearted manner between the two biggest lawyers of the country, Kapil Sibal and Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta. Tushar Mehta even said that like Sibal, he does not have any YouTube channel to respond to any criticism. Actually, the case filed by the West Bengal government on the alleged misuse of CBI was being heard in the court. SG Tushar Mehta was pointing towards Kapil Sibal’s YouTube channel ‘Dil Se with Kapil Sibal’, in which he discusses issues with various political leaders and lawyers.
According to the news of Bar & Bench, what happened was that during the debate, Mehta reminded that in the previous hearing, Sibal had argued that once the CBI enters the state, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) usually follows. The court said that Sibal accepted that the argument was not justified. We are on a legal point, not politics. We know what he (Sibal) meant.” After which Sibal said that he would like to withdraw the argument given in the previous hearing. SG Mehta immediately reacted to this in a light-hearted manner and said, “This is my only medium to answer, I do not have any YouTube channel.”

The bench also took a dig
The bench immediately asked both of them to resume the debate. Justice Gavai said, “This (fight) will continue at this pace till 12 noon, please start.” However, in the subsequent hearing, the judge was also seen mentioning Sibal’s YouTube channel. When Sibal, during his arguments, drew the court’s attention to the larger issue of arrests under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, the bench said in a light-hearted tone, “Now don’t be too broad with your brief. At least without Tushar Mehta… there can be another platform for him.” Kapil Sibal is also a Member of Parliament. He clarified that he does not discuss politics in the court or the court in politics. Justice Mehta replied smilingly, “We are learning this from an MP.
