According to the police, Shobhanath Prajapati (32 years) father Kulia, a resident of Sonaura village, killed his wife Rajkumari Prajapati (26 years). After the murder, Shobhnath hid behind the junk kept at the house on the farm. Both were tied in marriage bond only 4 years back. They also have a 2 year old daughter. The daughter was also in the room at the time of the murder. It has been told that Shobhnath had also left the house about six years ago in the insistence of marrying the princess. He returned home only when the family had agreed to the marriage. Shobhanath, accused of killing his wife, has been arrested by the police within a few hours.

In response to the father’s question, Shobhnath said that she died and ran away from there. When the father opened the door, he saw a daughter-in-law lying in one corner of the room. When he went near, his senses were blown away. His breathing had stopped. There were marks of beating and dragging all over the body. There were also injury marks on the nose and mouth. On getting information about this, the people of the village gathered and informed the police.
