Nagpur. In Nagpur, Maharashtra, a 62-year-old father refused to massage his son’s feet, due to which the angry man allegedly beat him to death. Police gave information about this gruesome incident on Sunday. An officer said that the incident took place on Saturday evening in Nawabpura area of Nagpur. He said that 33-year-old son Kushal alias Inga Shende has been arrested.
Giving information about the incident, the police officer said that Kushal has a criminal record. His father Dattatreya Shende had refused to massage his feet, after which Kushal kicked and punched him on his chest, stomach, ribs and head. Shende’s elder son tried to save his father, but Kushal threatened him. Due to this, the elder son of the elderly did not intervene out of fear.

The officer said Pranav ran to his neighbour’s house to seek help, but when he returned he found his father lying unconscious and seriously injured. Shende was then rushed to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. He said Kushal was arrested on charges of murder. A court has sent him to police custody till Monday.

Police have started investigating the case after the body of an elderly man was found in a suitcase in a remote area of Thane district of Maharashtra. An officer gave this information on Friday. The body was found near Varap village in Kalyan taluka on Thursday. The officer said that a passerby had gone to that place to defecate, when he saw the suitcase. When the passerby opened the suitcase out of curiosity, he found the body of a 60-70 year old man in it. The police officer said that on receiving the information, police and dog squad were sent to the spot. The body was sent to the government hospital for post-mortem. He said that the investigation into the case is ongoing.
