Similarly, on making Sourav Ganguly the brand ambassador of West Bengal, CM Mamata Banerjee said, ‘Ganguly is a popular person, who is working for the youth. He has worked very well for the youth so far, so I have decided to make him the brand ambassador of Bengal. Let us tell you that Ganguly is also known as Dada. There are two reasons behind this. Firstly, he comes from Bengal, where the elder brother is addressed as Dada. At the same time, the second big reason is that while being the captain, he has done great bullying in Team India. While being the captain, he has taught the players of Team India to respond by looking them in the eyes.
On the other hand, if we talk about Ganguly’s journey, he has played 113 test matches for India so far and has scored more than 7 thousand runs. Apart from this, his run rate has also been around 42.18, which is considered quite good. He has also scored 16 centuries and 35 half-centuries in his career. Apart from this, he has taken 32 wickets in the role of bowling. Ganguly has also been the President of BCCI. On the other hand, Ganguly has played different roles in IPL also.
